About
The Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority’s (PARA) mission is to enrich our community through exciting recreational and cultural opportunities. Whether you are discovering the natural beauty of Tuscaloosa County’s flat lands, hills, mountains, and lakes, or engaging and playing in youth or adult sports, stretching your legs, or meeting up with friends, PARA is the community’s source for high quality, affordable, and convenient recreation programs. PARA offers something for everyone with almost 2,000 acres of green space including over 35 parks, seven activity centers, an 18-hole award winning golf course, boat landings, tennis facility, special events, and more. We invite you to "Live, Learn, Play," and volunteer with us!
