About

Spring 2026 SCHEDULE: 1hr collision survey walks will take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays at 8AM from 9/14-10/30. Meet near the union fountain. Wear comfortable shoes, as we will be walking through grass and dirt.

We are the UArk Bird Safe Glass Initiative. We are currently collecting data on birds that have died from window collisions in order to identify windows and buildings that are especially bad for birds. We are working with the Department of Sustainability on making the changes that are needed to make our campus safer for birds. If you find a dead bird on campus, please take a picture and report it here. Each fall (Sept-Oct) and spring (April-May) migration we accept volunteers to walk campus routes and monitor for window collision casualties.

Report incidental strikes year-round online: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeb2z1db0vf-jJ5NaGuwMiDYs_7N4MBQ0N2oBi7zKvSJLRqtw/viewform
