About
Georgia State believes getting out of your comfort zone, learning about the world and seeing it for yourself are all key to a well-rounded education. We offer more than 75 study abroad programs in more than 25 countries with flexible options to meet students' personal and academic goals. It's never too early for you to begin thinking about how to include study abroad in your undergraduate experience.
We sponsor a variety of study abroad programs, including Spring Break, May-mester and Summer programs, semester and academic year programs and short-term programs during the fall and spring semesters. We can even help your student find an internship overseas that counts for academic credit. Students may also develop an independent study abroad course to be completed abroad.
The Study Abroad Programs team individually advises GSU students on their study abroad experience, including how to choose a program that aligns with their academic goals, finding and applying for GSU and nationally competitive scholarships for study abroad, transferring credits back to GSU, the re-entry process, and how to use their experience abroad to seek job opportunities post- graduation.
