The mission of College Mentors for Kids at NC A&T is "Mentoring transforms lives: College Mentors for Kids connects kids to college students through weekly on-campus activities that inspire growth, confidence, and brighter futures." "Buddy pairs", consisting of one college and one elementary student, meet in groups for weekly activities on campus that focus on higher education and career, culture and diversity, and community service. Through these activities and relationships with college students, children are exposed to higher education and the opportunities it has to offer.
