HEALTH is a new innovative model at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in the division of primary care. We will work with children referred by their primary care physicians who are above the age of 3 years and are in the overweight or obese range. We will use the strategies of motivational interviewing to encourage changes in lifestyle to achieve better health.
