WHIT stands for, Weekly Hands-on Independent Tutoring. We are a non-profit organization that provides free tutoring to children in foster care. Children in foster care start off behind, we catch them up! The WHIT program achieves this goal by training volunteers, predominantly University students, to provide free tutoring for children in foster care to bring them up to grade level.
