About the Gala:
- The Boulder Library Gala on the evening of Thursday, September 17 is Boulder’s signature library fundraising event for 2026.
- The purpose of the gala is to engage readers, community leaders, and library supporters in an entertaining evening to benefit the Boulder Public Library.
- The gala will feature festive food and drink in the Boulder Main Library, a program featuring #1 best-selling author Virginia Evans of “The Correspondent”, and the stories of lives forever changed by library programming.
- Volunteering is an opportunity to be part of the team that creates and hosts the gala, rather than an avenue to attend the gala. Catching live glimpses of the programing will only be possible for volunteers in roles actively supporting the gala as it is happening. Thank you for understanding!
About the volunteer opportunity:
Throwing this event will be a collaborative, team effort! Volunteers help in creative and practical roles before, during, and after the gala. Volunteers will check in at the beginning of their shift to be oriented and assigned specific duties supporting the following areas:
